By the time Hayashi started, C++ had begun to make sense and the team flow was good. It's still one of my favorites from The Game Assembly.
I focused on the control scheme and creating a smooth, responsive player experience.
My main contributions
- Player controls — input handling, state transitions, movement feel
- Animation integration and blending
- Feedback systems — hit pauses, camera shake, and responsiveness polish
